There isn’t much to update, however I wanted to touch base…….. We do know that the egg donor does not yet have an attorney, despite given 2 extensions to obtain an attorney. If she can’t find an attorney after 9 weeks, she will NEVER find one.
Our court date is May 25th. We still have not been notified that she has an attorney, should prove interesting when we get there or when we get a call that she requested another extension.
My assumption is that she can’t afford an attorney, she had to “hook up” with someone who actually has a job and gets a pay check so he could pay for it. Not sure about that, but NO attorney is going to take a case if she can’t pay a retainer fee.
We continue to hear all kinds of excuses that she can’t come on her visitation day or has to come late or leave early. If she was ANY kind of mother, she would be here as much as I would let her. But instead, she makes all kinds of excuses not to come. And yet she is requesting for 50/50 custody. She can’t even make it 1 1/2 hours a week, how would she ever be able to handle 50/50 custody??
Our son has obtained his GED, he has also passed the first portion of his high school diploma, while he continues to get his certification in welding. We hope he continues this upward path in his life. Way to go kiddo!!
We continue to focus on our little princess and her best interests. She is an amazing little girl and continues to be the apple of our eye.
Just a side note….. my husband and I are expecting our 2nd grandchild, she is due on August 2nd. SO PROUD TO BE A GRANDMOTHER!!
