I am a 41 year old grandmother of a beautiful 18 month old little girl. My husband and I have legal permanent guardianship of her. It has been a struggle and has been a long path getting to this point, but well worth it.
My youngest child is 18 years old. So we are basically starting all over again. We are going from an 18 year old and nearly out the door to a 18 month old and starting all over again.
I will be posting my story along with information in regards to obtaining guardianship, applying for state programs, activities, and day to day life with a young child in the house again.
